Corncrow at Looe Folk and Acoustic Club - 8pm-11pm

The Jolly Sailor Inn, Princes Square, Looe PL13 2ER

Corncrow's first performance of 2013.  The duo play mainly traditional songs and tunes in a distinctive style which is informed both by Cornwall’s enduring musical traditions and it’s prevailing folknik spirit.

Kim Guy sings, and plays guitar & recorders, and Steve Hunt sings, and plays guitar & bouzouki. Their music features on several UK folk compilation albums, and their own mini-album CD, Sweet Nightingale.

"I reckon they’re going to go places, because I really like their stuff!" Mike Harding. BBC Radio 2

Two fine choices for the evening in two different parts of Cornwall, both guaranteed to have you smiling, singing, and either tapping your toes, or stomping your feet!
