We're super excited to be running an extra special Cornish Dance Workshop for Children in partnership with Liskeard's new Share Hub on Pike Street and Liskeard Community Action.

If the children enjoy the session, and the adults are up for it, we'll be arranging for more regular workshops in the coming weeks in the run up to Ploughman's Festival in August, Liskeard Unlocked and St Matthew's Fair in September, and lots more . . .

Folk Educators Group Practitioner Development Day

Thursday 21 June 10:00 - 17:00 | Liskeard Public Hall

We're delighted to be hosting the FREE! Folk Educators Group Practitioner Development Day for the first time here in the Duchy with the theme Culture and Community.

An action packed day of presentations, practical sessions and discussions for anyone interested in folk dance, education and participation, working across generations, both formally in school and out of school, and in community projects.

We're particularly thrilled that two Gorsedh Kernow Bards, and fellow Cornish dancers are among the presenters: Grand Bard, Dr Merv Davey, Telynor an Weryn (Folk Harper), and Helen Musser, Donsyores Keltek (Celtic Dancer).

If you'd like to join us, bring your dancing feet/instrument, and sign up here.
